Grades: 4th-6th,

Course Description: Ever wonder how blacksmithing started?  We will dive into the history of blacksmithing, learn about metals and different ways to work them. Then we will move into working with forges, shaping metal and making basic usable items.

Classes will be held at alternative location in Kalispell. 

Course Length:  1 semester

Day/Time: Tues 12:30-2:30

Cost:  $375/ semester

Supply Fee:  $50.00 per semester

Class Prerequisite:  None 

Materials Teacher Will Provide: All equipment needed

Materials Students Must Provide: Tight fitting gloves if student wishes

Minimum Enrollment:  2

Maximum Enrollment:  5

Parent Requirements: There will be No Required Homework for this class.
