Course Description: This high school beginning drawing course introduces foundational techniques, focusing on observation, line quality, shape, perspective, and value (shading) to build confidence. Using media like graphite and charcoal, students develop skills through sketching, projects, and critique, moving from simple shapes to complex 3D forms.

Class Prerequisite:  None

Materials Teacher Will Provide: Easels and some materials

Materials Students Must Provide: XL Drawing pad, Charcoal and Graphite sticks, Pencils .

Minimum Enrollment:  8

Maximum Enrollment:  12

Parent Requirements: There will be No Required Homework for this class. Optional weekly drawing assignments will be sent home.
